Partnership and Outreach Opportunities

The Library is always looking for new ways to partner with the community and the organizations that make it vibrant! Here are some current ways we serve the Hilton-Parma area outside of traditional library services:

1.  Visiting community events and festivals - You can find the library at Summer Smash, Apple Fest, the Hilton Fire Department Carnival, the Rec Department Sweetheart Ball and visit with the Easter Bunny, and much more! At these events we register new library card users, give away books, and offer free crafts!

2. Bringing the library to you - Partnerships with organizations like Hilton-Parma Recreation and Hilton East Assisted Living allow us to bring library services to those who might not be able to visit us in person - this includes delivering  materials and leading craft classes, book clubs, and library information sessions.

3. Donation drives at the library - The Parma Library regularly works with non-profit organizations to organize and host community donation drives here on premises! Being able to utilize library advertising and word of mouth ensures successful donation drives, thanks to our very generous community.

4. Advertising for community events in our front window - The library is lucky to have prime advertisement space for car and foot traffic through the village! Non-profit and community organizations are welcome to rent our front window to advertise local events and opportunities to the community.
